Coding Challenge
The coding challenge will take place on Saturday, April 28, 2018 between 12pm and 10pm in the New Computer Science building, Stony Brook University. Ten to fifteen teams of are expected to participate at the event for a total of 30–50 students. The winners of the coding challenge will be offered internships at Cemtrex (if eligible) and their project could be featured in the upcoming Smartdesk.
Cemtrex Inc. (Nasdaq: CETX, CETXP, CETXW), a world leading technology and manufacturing company, today announced that they are hosting a gaming coding challenge, a hackathon-style event, with Stony Brook University’s Department of Computer Science in order to celebrate the upcoming Smartdesk release. Students will be challenged to modernize retro games by utilizing hand-tracking technologies that have been integrated into the Smartdesk. The coding challenge is also sponsored by Stony Brook’s Women in Computer Science (WiCS) and the Stony Brook Computing Society (SBCS).
