ISE Specializations

The department offers specializations in several important and emerging areas for the ISE major. The area of specialization is marked in the student's transcript as well as the diploma.

Specializations include a combination of six to eight courses in one related discipline. Students can select a specialization in Business and Economics, Financial Information Systems, Health Informatics, System & Network Administration or Technological Systems Management. Alternatively, a student can design a specialization of six to eight courses in a different application area of information systems in consultation with the ISE Undergraduate Director. This custom specialization should be agreed to as early as possible in the student's program.
