The Stony Brook Competitive Programming Club (CompProg) is organizing a local ICPC-style Coding Contest on
Tuesday, October 1, 2024
Room 2120 (with additional rooms as necessary) in the Old Computer Science Building
Contest hosted on HackerRank
7:00 - 11:00 PM
Each participant must compete alone, and will get 7-8 algorithmic programming problems to solve in 3 hours.
The goal is to identify the top candidates for our International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) teams, which will participate in the Greater New York Regional Contest in the second week of November for a slot in the ICPC World Finals of 2025.
Anyone with basic programming experience can take part and volunteers will help in explaining the format of the contest if you are not familiar with it. It is open to all SBU students.
We will try to provide computers to students without their own laptop but it is not guaranteed.
