Biography
Larry Wittie received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1973 and 1967, and his B.S. in Mathematics from the California Institute of Technology (CalTech) in 1966.
Research
Larry Wittie leads the development of the Brain Organization Simulation System (BOSS) consisting of INIT, RUNSIM, and VIZ. BOSS can create and run brain structure learning models consisting of networks of up to hundreds of millions of neuronal elements with tens of billions of synaptic connections that pass electro-ionic signals.
