Francois Rameau is an Assistant Professor at the State University of New York (SUNY) Korea. He obtained his Ph.D. in Vision and Robotics from the University of Burgundy (France) in 2014, under the joint supervision of Prof. Cedric Demonceaux, Prof. Desire Sidibe, and Prof. David Fofi. Afterward, he joined the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST, South Korea) as a postdoctoral researcher and later became a Research Professor under the KRF fellowship program (2017-2023).
Dr. Rameau's research focuses on 3D Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Collaborative Robotics, with an extensive track record of publications in leading venues.
Professor Rameau's research focuses on developing innovative computer vision and machine learning strategies for connected and autonomous driving. Aside from purely vehicular-based applications, he led research on other fundamental topics in computer vision, such as visual tracking, camera calibration, 3D reconstruction, 3D point cloud processing, computational photography, and more.
