This year we are excited to once again offer high school students the opportunity to visit the Department of Computer Science (CS). Our CS Open House will take place on October 12th from 4-5p.
On October 12 high school students are invited to get a closer look at the department. Attendees will meet CS faculty and counselors from the Office of Admissions who will offer advice and information about becoming a Stony Brook computer science or information systems student.
The event is taking place in the New Computer Science building (Room 120) and it will conclude at 5p following a tour of the new 70,000 square foot CS building.
“It is our hope that the Open House will help students choose the college that is right for their family. I am happy to attend again this year and answer all of their questions,” said Samir Das, interim chair and professor of computer science at Stony Brook.
This event is the only time all year that potential applicants can tour the CS building and space is limited. Register now using this Google link: https://goo.gl/forms/lLwYX9qCeUGFnEMg2
